Dr. Kasper did a one hour presentation on Biofeedback at a morning conference entitled Advances in Neuroscience: Emerging Treatments for Common Conditions. The morning conference was held at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay on November third. Continuing Education Units were sponsored by Northwestern Health Sciences University. Other topics were: Overview of Common Sleep Disorders, Vertebroplasty for Vertebral Compression Fractures and Disc Replacement Surgery.

Maximizing Human Potential

This year's annual conference will feature Dr. Nadya Fouad on cultural diversity approaches to personal development and effective therapy with clients. Dr. Rick Snyder's Friday keynote presentation will examine Positive Psychology in relation to workplace happiness. His day-long workshop on Saturday is entitled "The Psychology of Hope".

Dr. Kasper's presentation, The View From the Medicine Wheel, was on Thursday April 7th from
1-3:30 PM. The focus was on speaking from the heart, listening to others without analyzing or judging and staying in the present moment. The Wheel represents balance in one's life, as well as a symbol for life cycles. Namaji is the highest Anishinaabe principle of: respect, honor, dignity and pride towards yourself, others and all of creation.

LWE & LBB presented Pops Concert, January 17 & 18, 2003 Capitol Civic Centre, Manitowoc, WI. This event featured "The Bickersons," played by Phyllis Kasper and Bill Gigure. This was the Bickersons' third year that they have been part of "The Biggest of the Big Bands."

On June 13th, 2003 Dr. Kasper did a presentation on the Emotional Freedom Technique at the annual conference of the Wisconsin Social Services Association.

Dr. Kasper did a presentation on Performance Anxiety: Stage Fright for teachers and students in music and theater and for the general public. She spoke at the UW-Manitowoc campus in the Theater on February 8th, 2003, 3-6 PM. The presentation was reviewed in the Sunday, February 17th Lakeshore Chronicle by Cynthia Stone.
